Three Crowns Golf Club
Custom Three Crowns Golf Club artwork, made to order: a hand-styled map of the course, a painting-style print of your favorite hole, or a finished photo from your round.
Created from actual course data, with every tee, fairway, bunker, and green in vivid detail.
Three Crowns Golf Club opened in 2005 in Casper, Wyoming, a public course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. It was built on the site of a former Amoco oil refinery near the North Platte River, as part of the Platte River Commons remediation and redevelopment project.
The ground is relatively flat, so Jones added eight lakes and 61 bunkers to give the layout shape and strategy, and strong southwest winds often shape the day. The property covers 155 acres: 110 acres of manicured turf and 45 acres of native grasses. Greens are A-1 bentgrass, with Kentucky bluegrass on the tees, fairways, and rough.
The front nine has an unusual balance of three par 3s, three par 4s, and three par 5s. From the back tees the course plays 7,065 yards at par 72, with tee sets down to 5,095 yards. A 300-yard driving range, a short-game area, and an on-site restaurant round out the visit, and the club hosts corporate and charity outings.
